A few weeks ago, we published a story from Alex, one of our Twitter followers, who'd just come back with some great photos from a hiking expedition in Yosemite National Park. We liked it so much that we asked everyone out there doing amazing things in our gear to send us their stories and pictures. Many of you responded, including Martina, and we can't wait to share them all with you.
Martina lives in Tyrol, Austria, where she works in a tourist office, and spends her free time hiking, biking, skiing, and climbing in the Alps. A few weeks ago, she travelled to Switzerland to climb the Piz Palü Glacier (3,901m) on the Bernina Range of the Eastern Alps, located between Switzerland and Italy.
For this amazing climb, she brought the Atom LT Hoody ("absolutely recommended for a glacier hike, as well as for warm winter days"), a Cita Vest, and a Rho LTW Beanie ("All in all – Arc'teryx is my favourite brand for outdoor sports!!!").
The result was a breathtaking expedition with photos to match. You can check them all out in an album on our Facebook page. And, of course, send us your stories too!
